In Glaxy_Moonliza betrachte ich das malen auf der Leinwand als einen skulpturalen Akt. In verschiedenen Schichten legen sich die Farben übereinander und bilden Strukturen, die in einen Dialog mit darüber liegenden Schichten treten. Ich arbeite mit unterschiedlichen Werkzeugen, wie Pinsel und Rakel und ziehe zwischen einigen Farbbereiche klare Trennungen, während andere fließende Übergänge oder Farbverläufe bilden und so ein Farbenspiel bilden, welches Assoziationen weckt. Die Wahrnehmung und aktive Rezeption des Betrachters spielt auch in Glaxy_Moonyliza eine Rolle. So wecken einige einzelne Strukturen und zufälligen Situationen in den Farbspielen Assoziationen an Bekanntes aus dem Alltag, welches wiederum in einen Widerspruch mit der übrigen Struktur des Bildes tritt. Es liegt hierbei in der Hand des Rezipienten und seinem aktiven Wahrnehmungsvermögen, wie das Farbspiel jeweils angeeignet wird, während individuelle Faktoren einen Einfluss haben können. Aus der Begegnung mit den Farbenspielen ergibt sich ein Dialog mit dem Rezipienten, während eine individuelle Erfahrung gemacht werden kann.

In Glaxy_Moonliza I consider painting on the canvas as a sculptural act. Without any representational intentions, I apply the liquid paint to a two-dimensional surface and let the colors superimpose themselves in different layers, forming structures that enter into a dialogue with layers above. I work with different tools, such as brushes and squeegees, and draw clear separations between some color areas, while others form flowing transitions or color gradients, creating a play of colors that evokes associations. The perception and active reception of the viewer also plays a role in Glaxy_Moonyliza. Some individual structures and random situations in the play of colors evoke associations with familiar things from everyday life, which in turn contradicts the rest of the structure of the picture. It is in the hands of the recipient and his active perception how he appropriates the play of colors, while individual factors can have an influence. The encounter with the play of colors results in a dialogue with the recipient, while an individual experience can be had.
