NE.LO

Mit der Installation NE.LO realisiert die Künstlerin Simone Thünemann ihr Ziel der räumlichen Erfahrbarkeit ihrer Werke, indem sie ihren Collagen und übermalten Collagen einen Eindruck von Durchblick und Ansicht verleiht, sodass sich der Raum als eine zusätzliche Collagenschicht der Darstellung beifügt. Die Installation adaptiert hierdurch das Schichtenprinzip der künstlerischen Arbeiten, welche collagiert sind und übermalt werden. In Form transparenter Stoffbahnen, die umschritten werden können legt sich die Ansicht der Arbeiten vor den Raum und macht diesen zu einem Teil ihrer Konzeption. Die Installation stellt die Collagen in den Raum und lässt sie vor dem Hintergrund einer Begegnung erfahrbar werden. Hierbei werden konzipierende Aspekte, wie der Lichteinfall und andere Besucher bedeutsam, deren Bewegung zwischen den Installationsteilen sich in das Wahrnehmungsbild der Installation einfügt. Der Rezipient nimmt die Installation bewusst nicht unabhängig den anderen konzipierenden Aspekten und Besuchern wahr, sodass sich die Installation als ein offenes Kommunikationsfeld herausstellt und ein Medium des Ausdrucks des Rezipienten darstellt. Die Installation NE.LO dient hierdurch weniger eines Selbstdarstellung und der Darbietung objektiver Formen, als der Eröffnung einer Kommunikationsfeldes und der Anregung eines über die Konzeption der Arbeit hinausweisenden Dialoges.

Die Installation NE.LO besteht aus in den Raum hängenden Stoffbahnen, die durch ihre durchscheinende Konzeption ein Prinzip von Durchblick und Darstellung thematisieren, welche die Wahrnehmung des Rezipienten in ihr Zentrum rückt. Die Wahrnehmung des Rezipienten spielt in der Arbeit der Stipendiatin Simone Thünemann generell eine besondere Rolle, während sie das in ihrer Arbeit häufig abgesehene Prinzip der erfahrenden Wahrnehmbarkeit mit der Installation NE.LO insbesondere auf einen Punkt bringt und durch ein notwendiges räumliches Prinzip reformuliert. Die eigens produzierten und bedruckten transparenten Stoffe zeigen übermalte Collagen der Künstlerin in leuchtenden Farben, die sich vor den Raum legen und somit eine Art Folie vor dem Hintergrund der Raumerfahrung bilden, welche sie auf eine besondere Weise bewirken und färben. Die Installation NE.LO ermöglicht eine veränderte Selbstreflexion und bricht gewohnte Strukturen in der Wahrnehmung des Rezipienten auf, sodass sich innerhalb einer Begegnung neue Erfahrungen und eine veränderte Wahrnehmung ergeben.

With the installation NE.LO, the artist Simone Thünemann realizes her goal of giving her collages and painted-over collages an impression of perspective and view, so that the environment is added to the representation as an additional collage layer. The installation thereby adapts the layering principle of the artistic works, which are created and painted over using a layering principle. In the form of transparent strips of fabric that can be inscribed, the view of the work is placed in front of the room and makes it part of your conception. The installation places the collages in the room and lets them be experienced against the background of an encounter. Here, conceptual aspects, such as the incidence of light and other visitors, whose movement between the installation parts fits into the perception of the installation, become important. The recipient consciously does not perceive the installation independently of the other conceiving aspects and visitors, so that the installation turns out to be an open communication field and represents a medium of expression for the recipient. The NE.LO installation serves less as a self-portrayal and the presentation of objective forms than to open up a field of communication and to stimulate a dialogue that goes beyond the conception of the work.

The installation NE.LO consists of panels of fabric hanging in the room, which, through their translucent conception, thematize a principle of perspective and representation, which focuses on the perception of the recipient. The recipient's perception generally plays a special role in the work of the scholarship holder Simone Thünemann, while with the installation NE.LO she brings the principle of perceptual perception, which is often neglected in her work, to a point and reformulates it with a necessary spatial principle. The specially produced and printed transparent fabrics show collages painted over by the artist in bright colors, which are placed in front of the room and thus form a kind of foil against the background of the spatial experience, which they cause and color in a special way. The installation NE.LO enables a changed self-reflection and breaks up familiar structures in the perception of the recipient, so that new experiences and a changed perception arise within an encounter.
